Description:
Collingrove Homestead is one of the States most important heritage properties. Originally the home of the founder of South Australia, George Fife Angas, Collingrove is now owned by the National Trust. Three double suites in the restored servant's wing of the Homestead have modern ensuite bathrooms, another two suites share an antique bathroom or, for group bookings, one very special couple may choose the Main Homestead which reflects the style of the late Victorian period when the Angas Pastoral Holdings returned a most comfortable living. Relax with a stroll around the beautifully manicured gardens or take time out in the jaccuzi hot tub. Breakfast is served in the Homestead kitchen or why not have it on the front verandah overlooking the croquet green? Step back in time to the days of gracious living. Getting There:
To get to Collingrove Homestead from the Barossa go through Angaston main street (Murray Street). Turn right at the end of the main street. About 1 kilometre veer right at the fork in the road. Collingrove Homestead is about 4 kilometres on the right. Enter through the first of the access gates ? the second is for visitors.
