Cancellations notified 28 days or less and more than 14 days prior to arrival date will forfeit the full deposit paid or 50% of the total booking whichever is less. Cancellation 14 days or less prior to the arrival date will forfeit all monies paid. Any other changes to booking dates will incur a $30 amendment fee. Children & Extra Guest Policy:

Children are welcome in the Miners Retreat where there is a second bedroom or in the Menzie Suite where there is a single bed in the room with the queen bed. Extra guests need to be booked and paid for at time of booking to allow adequate preparation of rooms.

Reception Information:

Please park and proceed to the central rear courtyard through the carport and ring the big brass bell outside the dining room.

Car Parking:

Off road.

Things to do:

Bush walks, bird watching. You may be lucky enough to see kangaroos at sunset or in the early morning. Glorious views of the reservoir may be had from the "cave".

Getting There:

From Adelaide, go into Gawler, turn off the main street to the Barossa.(B19) Eight kilometres turn right at Sandy Creek Hotel. Follow Williamstown Road for 4 kilometres and turn right into Yettie Road. About 2.5 kilometres turn right into Middleton road marked Kooringal Homestead. Follow this to the end - the gate is on your right From Tanunda, proceed to Lyndoch, take Gilbert Street to Cockatoo Valley, turn left at Cockatoo Valley and then, after 1 kilometre, turn right into Yettie Road. Go up the hill and down the other side. Turn right into Millington Road marked Kooringal Homestead. Follow this to the end - the gate is on your right.
