Dine in the splendid restaurants and Cafe's. Walk or cycle the Riesling Trail, or take the Historic walk around the many National Trust buildings in Auburn. Walk the Auburn River Walk, Visit the many wineries and cellar doors in the Clare Valley. Check out the work of local artists such as Julie Anne Pulford, Harry Sherwin and Murray Edwards. Visit the many fine olive growers and taste both the olives and the oil. Visit antique stores and galleries. Or simply relax in front of an open fire, read a book, watch a movie enjoy each others company, take a spa, have a BBQ and enjoy the garden- you will not be bored.

Local Attractions:

Only a minute away from the start of the Riesling Trail, the famous Rising Sun Hotel, Cygnet?s Restaurant, Tara's and the cellar doors of Mt Horrocks and Grossett wineries. Also ideally situated for the River Walk and the galleries, cafe's and shops of Auburn. Cogwebs cycle hire is less than a minute away, so hiring cycles for the Riesling Trail is simple. If you are looking for indulgence than in cottage massage and dining can be easily arranged.

Getting There:

Coming from Adelaide take the Main North Road through Elizabeth, past Gawler. Turn off to the Clare Valley, travel through Roseworthy, Tarlee and turn off to Clare and Auburn. As you come into Auburn turn left into St Vincent Street and then immediately left opposite the Post Office to Dennis Cottage.
